On January 5, 2017, I had a dream that I clearly remembered once I woke up--a very vivid one.
I was standing in a crowd surrounded by hundreds of women in New York City, and there was a lot of… pink. As I now attempt to interpret this part of my subconscious, I believe the pink represented power. We were gathered and listening to Sarah Jessica Parker, who in all of her amazing glory, was empowering each and every one of us to live the best life we possibly could as single women. She was telling us to simply ignore the negative connotations that society associates with being single.
One of the things I remember Sarah saying was: “Don’t let the opinions of others stop you from being the best you!”
My alarm went off, and I awoke from this confusing, yet inspiring dream.
The reason I entitled this book You Are Enough is because over the last year and a half, that quote, "I am enough," has been inspirational and has literally been something that I have said to myself over and over again. These three little words have helped me move through all of my struggles to a place of acceptance. Accepting that my past is just that… the past; that where I am today and who I am today is enough. These three little words have transformed my mind so much so that I went as far as to get these words tattooed on my collar bone so I am reminded. Every. Single. Day… I am enough!
The purpose of my book is to help you: (1) to build confidence, (2) to find clarity in getting what you truly want in life, and (3) to get inspired to take action towards building the life of your dreams!
